{"id":2680,"date":"2022-07-21T13:18:08","date_gmt":"2022-07-21T03:18:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theonsitemanager.com.au\/news\/?p=2680"},"modified":"2022-08-12T13:00:19","modified_gmt":"2022-08-12T03:00:19","slug":"management-rights-report-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theonsitemanager.com.au\/news\/management-rights-report-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"Management Rights Report 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-file\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.theonsitemanager.com.au\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Managment-Rights-Report_Final_210622.pdf\"><strong>Managment-Rights-Report_Final<\/strong><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.theonsitemanager.com.au\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Managment-Rights-Report_Final_210622.pdf\" class=\"wp-block-file__button\" download>Download<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Management Rights\u2019 industry worth $4.8b in Australia, according to groundbreaking report<br>Management Rights contributes a staggering amount to the Australian economy, with $120 billion of accommodation assets under management, according to an industry first report.<br>ResortBrokers today released the Management Rights\u2019 Report 2022 \u2013 the only one of its kind in Australia \u2013 which examines the vast impact of this accommodation industry sector.<br>The inaugural report is a game-changer for the industry with ResortBrokers utilising its bespoke, back-of-house research system to collect and collate the data from around Australia.<br>Findings by ResortBrokers Research reveal:<br>\uf0b7 $4.8b estimated total value of the MR industry<br>\uf0b7 3,679 number of schemes nationally<br>\uf0b7 250,652 number of lots under the MR model<br>\uf0b7 68 average lots per scheme<br>\uf0b7 33,000 number of people employed<br>\uf0b7 $120b assets under management<br>ResortBrokers Director Alex Cook says the company handles more Management Rights\u2019 transactions than any of its competitors combined, with sales constituting roughly half of its annual sales volume.<br>\u201cResortBrokers captures more than half of the entire Australian Management Rights\u2019 market with 51 per cent market share and 376 sales over the past five years, worth more than $546 million,\u201d Mr Cook says.<br>\u201cManagement Rights is most robust in Queensland although the model exists in all other states and territories under varying legislation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe industry is a key cornerstone of Australia\u2019s tourism sector, offering thousands of professionally managed serviced apartments to the market ensuring higher level of security, health and safety when compared to an Airbnb.\u201d<br>Mr Cook says in the past five years, Brisbane has witnessed the most robust sales of Management Rights, recording 40 per cent of all transactions;
