THE Winners of the prestigious THE Awards were announced at the annual ceremony on Friday Night. Hundreds of managers and industry providers were in attendance for a magical evening of fun, laugher, and oh so much dancing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Queensland Youth Orchestra Big Band conducted by Bohden Davison<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Queensland Youth Orchestra Big Band were in attendance with a 24 person orchestra treating the punters to a line-up of speak-easy numbers that perfectly complimented the underground Warehouse Basement venue in Fortitude Valley. The orchestra were accompanied by Frank Senatra-esq vocals of Lachlan Luhrs and the set was rounded off with a special guest appearance by the incredibly talented Irena Lysiuk fresh off the back of her James Bond Skyfall Musical tour. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a quick stage reset, the presentation kicked off with travel presenter Cassandra Trezise taking to the stage with TheOnsiteManager founder, Nick Buick, and our wonderful sponsors: HiRUM, Schindlers Lifts, McAdam Siemon and Phipps Finance to present each of the awards. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

DJ Bure then opened up the dancefloor with live sax accompaniment by Alex Fletcher and percussion. After the venue closed at 11, the festivities kicked on into the small hours at the unofficial afterparty at Cloudland by a small consortium of industry die-hards.
