With significant regulatory changes set to introduce formal seller’s disclosure for all real estate professionals in Queensland from 1 August 2025, the REIQ has worked together with Securexchange to deliver a seamless solution for the profession.
The new smart tool, the Seller Disclosure Tool, was developed in collaboration between the REIQ and Securexchange to simplify and streamline the seller’s disclosure process by automating property searches and instantly pulling the right data to complete the disclosure form, ensuring both accuracy and efficiency.
REIQ CEO Antonia Mercorella said the Seller Disclosure Tool would help agents across Queensland stay ahead of legislative changes by providing a solution built specifically to meet the new statutory disclosure regime requirements.
“We are proud to partner with Securexchange to deliver a game-changing tool to make complying with seller’s disclosure even more simple for Queensland agents,” Ms Mercorella said.
“As a tool that automates and simplifies the property search and disclosure process, the Seller Disclosure Tool saves agents significant time that would otherwise be spent manually compiling information – and when it comes to transacting property, we know time is valuable and precious.”
Head of Securexchange Alex Antal said he was proud to partner with the REIQ to ensure the tool directly addresses real estate professionals’ pain points and delivers ease of use.
“Every feature of the Seller Disclosure Tool has been designed with the practical needs of real estate agents in mind, ensuring a user-friendly experience that’s both intuitive and efficient,” Mr Antal said.
“It integrates seamlessly into existing workflows, allowing agents to focus on helping their clients buy and sell homes and investment properties.
“Additionally, the Seller Disclosure Tool has been built with the highest security standards to safeguard both transactions and client data from potential cyber threats.”
Ms Mercorella said the REIQ and Securexchange will be hosting a webinar on 9 July, to provide agents with a comprehensive walkthrough of the Seller Disclosure Tool.
“Now is the time to prepare for the changes coming in August 2025 and the Seller Disclosure Tool is designed to make that transition as smooth as possible for Queensland agents,” she said.
“By attending the webinar, agents will gain an in-depth understanding of the tool’s capabilities and how it will benefit their business, helping them stay ahead of the curve and ensure compliance with the upcoming regulations.”
