Any time a tenant moves into your complex, you can simply direct them to TheOnsiteManager.com/connections to connect and disconnect all their utilities. I’ve gone through the service extensively with the good people from RealEstate.com.au and I have to say I’m impressed by how simple it is to use and easy it is to get connected.
Tenants can choose which utility companies they want to use. By filling out a simple online form RealEstate.com.au will then take care of everything from connecting Gas, Electricity, Telephone, Internet, even Foxtel. They can also disconnect the tenant from their previous address as well and ensure that all connections are in place for the tenant on the day they move in. The process is very fast, effective, and streamlined.
The service is 100% free to both the manager and the tenant. There are no hidden fees, and no lock-in contracts (either for the manager, or the tenant). The plans are standard plans offered by major service providers like AGL, Origin, Telstra, etc. It’s a really great service and we hope managers will start using it to make the process of moving tenants into complexes faster and easier.
