Queensland’s property market is warning of a further hit to rental availability, as the Government fails to rule out any further rent controls ahead of the election. Queensland’s property market is continuing its impressive run with median sales prices steadily creeping up, according to the latest data released by the Real Estate Institute of Queensland (REIQ). The quarterly median sales results for the June 2024 Quarter demonstrate the Sunshine State continues to go from strength to strength in property price performance. Vacancy rates have edged up slightly across Queensland according to data released today from the Real Estate Institute of Queensland (REIQ), but the peak body warns that the broader outlook remains concerning.
